Children's Learning Center

The Children’s Learning Center is a state-licensed, NAEYC-accredited and Level 4 Paths to Quality child care facility serving faculty, staff and students. Enrollment preference is given to USI students, staff and faculty; however, community children are accepted, if space allows. The Children's Learning Center accomodates children ages two to five years and is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. USI also offers year-round programming for preschool-aged children and operates a high-quality summer school-age program.

The Children's Learning Center became a lab school in 2012 under the direction of the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education. USI students studying early childhood education work with children in the Center, engaging with them and gaining hands-on experience for future careers.
