I was in Athens, Georgia for a conference and found I had forgotten to bring a watch, so I bought this one at a quaint little shop. The band is made of four large round rings (a bit larger than a quarter) and three links, removable to adjust the length. The face is a fifth round link with the works inside and a white dial. The metal is a dark burnished stainless steel. Needs a battery.

Three Anne Klein watches are looking for new wrists. First, an H2O stainless steel silver band with round red face. This watch is either vintage or retro, depending on whose standards you are using. It has a second hand and a date feature, which I always found annoying. It needs a battery. Second, another H2O which is much dressier. The bracelet is gold-and-silver mixed with a round dial and a white face, also with second hand. This one has a working battery. Finally, a gold-tone Anne Klein II watch with a rectangular white face and a second hand. It needs a new battery. Price below is for the one with a working battery, deduct $5 for the others.

One has a rectangular face in variegated pink-magenta color and adjustable bracelet via removable links. It needs a battery. The other is all-over silver-tone with a round face, also silver, and has a working battery. Both come in those cute little tins that are pretty much worthless but too nice to throw away. Price below is for the one with a working battery, deduct $5 for the other.

Have to pay for my daughter’s fancy ivy- league college education, so the car must go! This cross-over vehicle is roomy, fuel –efficient and loaded with family-friendly features. Rated “A” by Edmunds car ratings system. It is the perfect cross between an SUV and the family truckster. You will look hip, not like your mom driving the CR-V. Easy best describes this car: easy to drive, park, see out of (great when you are only 4'11") and the rear-view camera makes it easy to back out onto a busy road or that awful Wal-mart parking space. The blind spot mirror makes it easy to change lanes during rush hour Lloyd Expressway or in the crazy black Friday traffic on Burkhardt. Your teenager will love it because you can plug in their ipod or cell phone and listen to their music while you listen to NPR. Other features include alloy wheels, sunroof, Bluetooth phone connectivity, four speaker sound system with CD player. EPA estimated fuel economy is 23 mpg city/31 mpg highway. The upholstery has been simonized against stains and wear and tear. The warrantee will transfer with ownership. Honda will replace any stained fabric. There is 9,000 miles on this eight- month –old vehicle.
