  • Arrange for testing at a site in the student's community.
    1. Find someone to proctor the test, such as someone at a local high school, college, library, or testing center (which might charge a fee). Here is a list of some established remote testing sites in Indiana.
    2. Have the proctor send an email to with the student's name and the day and time of the test.
    3. Both the student and proctor will receive an email with the test information.
  • Take the test at home using the Virtual Testing Proctor (BVirtual). This option requires the student to use a webcam and pay a $25 fee to BVirtual. The student will receive an email from Academic Skills that includes a voucher number and the link to BVirtual.

Students should complete their placement tests at least one week before their scheduled Orientation day.
