The University of Southern Indiana (USI) and the Southern Indiana Japanese School (SIJS) are now recruiting people to teach at SIJS, while enrolled at USI, through the SIJS Exchange Program.
To be eligible for the Exchange Program, you need to be able to speak, read and write in Japanese. SIJS teachers use textbooks that are used at the schools in Japan.
If selected for the program, you will begin to teach for SIJS in late July 2017. The fall 2017 academic semester at USI will begin in August 2017.
In the Exchange Program, tuition to study at USI is waived. USI also pays a salary and the health insurance fee.
If you are interested, please complete an application form, including a 500-word essay about why you would like to apply for this program.
Application Deadline: February 23, 2017
