Student workers in New Harmony gain valuable experience by being ambassadors for the town of New Harmony and USI’s programs. From doing inventory to giving tours and presentations, student workers have a direct impact. Students will provide guests with information about the town, its history and help conduct our daily historical walking tours. Students from all majors will benefit from the skills they receive working for Historic New Harmony.
Current positions for USI students are posted through Eagle Career Launch.
Undergraduate and Graduate Internships are available to (but not limited to) students of History, Public Relations, Liberal Arts, Communications and Journalism, Speech, Computer Science, Marketing, Management, Education, Museum Studies and Business.
Typical Historic New Harmony internships are undertaken for 3-semester hours credit. On average students are required to be on site 10 hours a week for a 15-week semester.
