Admin Senate to host career clothes drive at annual Ice Cream Social

Take a break from the heat and connect with USI employees across campus at the annual Ice Cream Social sponsored by Administrative Senate. From 2 to 3:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 27, enjoy free ice cream and brownies in the upper-level lobby of the Performance Center.

New this year, Admin Senate is partnering with Career Services and Internships to host a donation drive for the "Suits for Students" initiative. Bring your donations of clean and professional interview attire (suits, separates, shoes, etc.) to the Ice Cream Social to help replenish the closet.

Julie Brauser, assistant director of Career Services and Internships, mentions the need for suits is great.

"We need suits for students, not necessarily work clothes," said Brauser. "USI students visit the closet to select free professional clothing appropriate for interviewing."
