Free health screenings, prizes and more at the annual Wellness Fair

September 16, 2016

Nothing comes free when it comes to health care, right? Well not quite. During USI's annual Wellness Fair, students, faculty and staff will have 50 vendors to visit for free health screenings, valuable information, even free treats like fresh fruit and popcorn, and the opportunity to win door prizes. From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 28 in Carter Hall bring a valid Eagle Access Card and take advantage of this opportunity.

"The Wellness Fair will provide students and employees a chance to learn about the exciting services offered in our city and on campus," said Wendy Summers, benefits manager in Human Resources. "From physical fitness to mental health and civic responsibility, we have it covered."

New vendors and services this year include USI Orthopedics, chair yoga and Squawk the Vote will be there to register voters and provide information about casting an absentee ballot. View a complete list of services and organizations.

Participants can pick up a wellness "passport" at the door, and by visiting at least six designated vendors (those with blue balloons on the tables), and getting a signature or stamp, will be entered to win the grand prize, a Ninja Professional Blender and Ninja Cups.

This year's door prizes include:
