Executive Diversity Scholars started as a pilot program by the Multicultural Center during the 2007-2008 academic year. The MCC recognized a need to advocate for increased opportunities in the workforce for multicultural students. It was designed to assist those students who typically would not have the opportunity to experience an internship or co-op opportunity but had the potential to be successful citizens in a global society.
Members of the Executive Diversity Scholars are typically selected during the summer by invitation only based upon involvement and academic success. Members meet once a month on Fridays between 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. For questions, contact the Multicultural Center at 812/465-7188 or by email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
For employers interested in participating in the Executive Diversity Scholars program, email the Director or contact the Multicultural Center at 812/465-7188.
