Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice Studies

The University of Southern Indiana's Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice Studies Department offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in each of these three fields.

For students interested in a two-year degree, an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in social science is also offered.

Students studying sociology, anthropology, or criminal justice studies will gain knowledge to aid in the understanding of human life, interaction, social systems, behaviors, cultures and traditions.

Experiential learning opportunities such as a summer archaeology field school and internships in local government agencies and cultural institutions help students in the program build their resumes, gain valuable professional skills, and be more prepared for careers after graduation.
