Contract Cancellation Fee Policy
A student who officially cancels the housing contract will be assessed cancellation fees based on the following schedule:
Contract Cancellation Fees for the Academic Year Contract
|From the contract signature date to May 1, 2017
||Deadline to cancel contract without penalty
|From May 2, 2017 to August 6, 2017
||50% of the Fall 2017 housing fee plus 50% of Spring 2018 semester Fee
|From August 7, 2017 to September 4, 2017 and fall semester no shows
||75% of the Fall 2017 housing fee plus 50% of Spring 2018 semester Fee
|After the first two weeks of class to the end of the fall semester
||100% of the Fall 2017 housing fee plus 50% of Spring 2018 semester Fee
|Spring 2018 no shows and check outs during the first two weeks of class
||75% of Spring 2018 semester Fee
|Beginning the third week of Spring 2018 classes
||100% of Spring 2018 semester Fee
If a contract is cancelled at the end of the fall semester, charges will be adjusted on the student's account at the end of the spring semester drop/add period (typically by the end of January).
